Card Sorting

I have performed card sorts in the process of redesigning websites. As a team, we identify key themes we want to represent on the website​ and smaller content areas. We group the smaller content areas within larger themes to improve navigation.

Heuristic Evaluation

As a UX researcher I have performed heuristic evaluations. On a team of researchers, we each independently comb through a prototype to identify issues. The issues are rated as minor, major, or catastrophic. Then we come together on a team to reach a consensus on each issue. The results are compiled in a slide deck and presented.

Competitive Analysis

I have performed competitive analyses. To gain an understanding of how previous products have offered solutions to a need, I have explored their interfaces. A slide deck is completed for a competitive analysis that compares and contrasts how previous products have offered solutions or had shortcomings.

Usability Testing

I have conducted usability testing. I meet with stakeholders to determine the goals of a study, create a study plan, interview participants using the think-aloud method, compile slide decks of results, and present findings.
